Gaza: where do the parties stand?

Public proposals, linked sources, and explicit research gaps. English draft for editorial review.

Research draft · 24 October 2026 · Human editorial review pending

This issue-by-issue comparison records public proposals that Torekh has located so far. It is a partial research draft: evidence is included for 8 of the guide’s 35 active lists. Missing entries mean not yet researched, not that a list has no position. The source set is uneven and must be expanded before a balanced final comparison is published.

The same questions for every list

  1. Who should provide security and civilian government in Gaza?
  2. What is proposed on Hamas, hostages and a lasting end to fighting?
  3. What safeguards, humanitarian arrangements and implementation timetable are specified?

The short positions below may answer only part of these questions. We do not turn a broad slogan into a detailed policy. A component party’s statement is identified as such and is not assumed to be an agreed platform of the combined electoral list.

What they propose: public positions located so far

How to assess the evidence

These summaries describe what a source says, not Torekh’s endorsement. Official campaign publications establish a stated intention; they do not establish legal validity, factual accuracy of the campaign’s diagnosis, successful implementation or coalition agreement. Where this draft carries forward a reply from our Abu Ali Express compilation, the source note identifies that route and the remaining source-language check. The disavowed Hendel–Zelikha civic submission is excluded; only the replacement identified in the compilation is used.

Before publishing, Jennifer Love should check the original passages and context, update or date each source, expand missing-party coverage, audit relevant Knesset votes, laws and budgets, distinguish list-wide from individual or component positions, and sign off the English summary. Hebrew and Arabic versions require their own review; neither translation is presented here as reviewed.

List names and activity status follow Torekh’s current guide roster; official Hebrew names and ballot letters are retained, and English names are reading aids. Explore the party cards · Read the party-replies compilation · Official voting information
